What jean should match my maroon with black stripes executive long sleeves and black leather shoes?

I have a maroon with black stripes executive long sleeves and black leather shoes.. now i’m finding the right jean to match it in a semi-formal occation.. should black jeans would match it? or could suggest other trousers?

If the occasion is any level of formal then jeans aren’t appropriate. But if you only feel comfortable wearing jeans I suggest dark, nice jeans (black is ok too).
